Master Overriding Messages

Building and strengthening the bridge to your powerful core essence.

Three step process

  1. Change your physiology: the way that you stand (stand up for starters), the way that you breathe, shoulder placement, gaze slightly above horizontal
  2. Change what you are focusing on and choosing to believe: instead of going over times when you ‘failed’ or let yourself or others down, or didn’t follow through SHIFT you focus to times when you have been UNSTOPPABLE, times when you felt SO PROUD, time when you were completely in the flow. Choose to believe in your endless potential, period!
  3. Change your language: you already have literally hundreds if not thousands of messages that are anchored in negative self talk (true?) One easy key to creating what you most want in any aspect of your life is to have your own set of words that are so powerful to your that they overcome the negative thoughts ( or at least help to balance them out and negate them). Build your own set of sentences and say them OUT LOUD frequently. You can start with, “Everyday in every way I’m getting (stronger and stronger, smarter and smarter, faster and faster, more and more connected) YES!” Or, “All the (strength, joy, peace, power, intelligence, ____) I need is within me now! YES! (Repeat five or more times). Customize your own, make it personal, use words that ‘juice’ you, that inspire you.

The bridge between you and those that you want to attract

Increase your awareness and understanding of how you and others are ‘wired’. One tool that you can begin using immediately are Metaprograms, or the ways that we individually prefer to receive, categorize and process information. People that you interact with are constantly giving you clues about how they process information and how they want to receive information. When you are masterful in the skill of understanding what makes that person ‘tick’ you are positioned to connect more deeply to build rapport faster which often leads to more effective conversations and negotiations. Remember, people will buy from you, bring you into deals, introduce you to great contacts, become your friend, even fall in love with you when they feel that you are ‘like’ them in some way or another.

Here are some examples of things to notice in your conversations that we give you clues about how to reach anyone with whom you’d like to connect. Remember that people will not always show up the same way. In other words, mastering this concept includes knowing that this can be situational. People may show up one way in one aspect of their life and another way in another aspect of their life. Dial up your sensory acuity in each conversation.

Note: The information above will hopefully reconnect you to the concepts and tools that we discussed in the presentation earlier this week. In looking at this, I also recognize that their may be many more questions that you have pertaining to how to become masterful in this area so that you can become more effective in your communications and accelerate you progress.
