Yearly tasks:
- Planning Calendar (meetings, activities)
- Budget - Treasurer proposes; Discussion and decision at leadership
meeting
- Activities Report to ICF
- Financial Report to ICF (Treasurer)
- Keep membership list and contact information (Secretary)
President
- Sign any instruments or documents that may
lawfully be executed on behalf of the membership.
- Coordinate location for monthly meeting
- Confirm that we have a facilitator for each
meeting
- Be responsible for the leadership meetings and
setting the associated agenda
- Confirm that facilitator will attend NCCA
planning meeting
Vice President
- Sign any instruments or documents in the
absence of the president or treasurer that may lawfully be executed in
behalf of the membership.
- Perform any of the President's roles in the
case of absence
- Create yearly activity report to ICF
Past President
- Attend leadership meetings and participate in
leadership discussions as available
- Provide a point of continuity with past decisions
and actions with respect to members, NCCA governance,
and key partners such as the ICF and other chapters
ICF Liaison
- Keep informed on ICF matters and keep ICF informed about NCCA
- Communicate significant ICF events to NCCA members as appropriate
- Act as ICF chapter host
CoachVille Liaison
- Communicate significant CoachVille events to NCCA members as appropriate
- Find ways that NCCA can influence CoachVille to advance the profession
Treasurer
- Lead the creation of a yearly budget
- Maintain financial records, bank accounts,
and tax-exempt filing information
- Produce year-end financial report for the
ICF
- Pick up mail (bank statements)
- Receive and track payments for yearly NCCA
activity fee and website advertisements
- Track who is a member of the ICF
Secretary
- Maintain official minutes and monitor meeting attendance -
meeting notes are to be done by a different person at each
meeting
- Mail out notes, newsletters, and
announcements
- Maintains up-to-date membership list (and
CC mailing list)
- Together the Treasurer and Secretary
periodically "scrub" the membership list based upon who has paid to NCCA and is
also a member of the ICF
- Set up teleconference line for the leadership meetings, if
necessary
Webmaster
- Maintain the NCCA website: minutes,
newsletters, lists, advertisements, and general NCCA information
- Maintain the connection with PayPal so that members can pay fees online
- Keep the online calendar up to date
Members' Responsibilities
- Bring a positive, productive attitude to
each meeting
- Attend as many meetings as possible
- Be an active participant by contributing
your knowledge and generating ideas
- Bring marketing materials to meetings to
facilitate networking
- Pay activity fee on time
